Joe Arroyo

Joe Arroyo first became know during the seventees with the Fruko orchestra. Later on he managed to build an impressive career with his own orchestra “La Verdad” and their very own sound: a mixture of Caribbean rhythms based on salsa. Joe grew up in Cartagena but has been living in Baranquilla for a long time and eventually died there in 2011.
