Las Karamba

Las Karamba is a six-piece, all-female salsa act. With roots in Cuba, Argentina, Venezuela, Catalonia, and Valencia, they blend traditional salsa, son, timba, and chachacha with hip-hop and jazz, all through a female social lens.

Founded in 2018 in the heart of Barcelona's streets, amidst the chaos, traffic, and urban stress, the group arose from a need to gather strength, combat fears, and spread joy and inspiration to every audience.

Las Karamba was born from the empathy between six life stories. Stories of migration and musical heritage, with the goal of chasing dreams and exploring human potential and sensitivity.
