Fruko y sus Tesos

Julio Ernesto Estrada - a.k.a. Fruko - is without a doubt the godfather of Colombian salsa. He debuted at 15 as a studio musician for Discos Fuentes, played for Los Corraleros and then started his own band: Fruko y sus Tesos. They released their first LP in 1969, after that dozens of albums followed. Joe Arroyo (AF '95, AF '97) was one of the many popular singers. Fruko's show is a must-see for all salsa-lovers and a "best of" of Colombian salsa.
