We celebrate 30 years Aptijt! 30 years of A lostoe foe a natie, or 'the nation's darling'.
The Surinamese band Aptijt, founded in 1995 by Michael Deira and Steven Redout, rose to fame in the 2000s as a top act in Suriname and the Netherlands — and has now been on stage for three decades!
The song 'Boeke' is a world of its own. It has been covered and remixed many times, played on dancefloors in many clubs and partys. Bandleader Deira and his crew deliver unforgettable kaseko concerts time and again.
