Wilfrido Vargas

Wilfrido Vargas is the godfather of the Dominican merengue. In the eighties he scored many timeless hits like "Abusadora", "El Africano" and "La Medicina". Wilfrido sings, composes, plays the trumpet and conducts his orchestra. Those who were there for his two performances at the sixth edition of Antilliaanse Feesten in 1988 definitely have magical memories of it. This performance - almost 30 years later - will be just as memorable!
